Novice

This is where you will begin if you have no previous rowing experience. Novices will learn rowing techniques in the tanks prior to learning on the water, participate in a local regatta, and possibly one away regatta.

JV/Varsity Boys & girls

Boys and girls rowing JV/Varsity are returning rowers, who have completed a novice year of rowing and may have rowed in the summer and/or fall seasons with HRRA. They each have their own teams. It is expected that JV/Varsity rowers participate in winter training at the boathouse or OLL. JV/Varsity crews will participate in local and away regattas each spring.
